Society of Friends and Sponsors

The Society of Friends and Sponsors of the Institute for Comparative Law, Conflict of Laws and International Business Law was founded in 1996 to support the institute’s work financially and in non-material ways. Since 2003, the Society has been specifically supporting the Heidelberg Center for International Dispute Resolution. Among its members are countless national and international attorneys and other practicing lawyers, scholars and guests as well as current and former assistants and Ph.D. candidates of the Institute, all of whom relate to the Institute through longstanding relationships. Membership is open towards anyone who takes an interest in the work of the Institute.
