The Institute thanks everyone who supports the scientific and teaching pursuits ideationally and financially.

Without the aid of donors, participation in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot would not be possible.

The Institute is deeply grateful for the support from Dr. Dr. h.c.* Manuela Schmid(Link). Dr. Schmid has been supporting the Institute monetarily and morally/idealistically in the most generous manner for many years. She has been given the distinction “Patroness of the Institute” as early as 2000.

Dr. Schmid’s commitment has been recognized beyond the confines of the Institute by being awarded the Grand University Medal of Heidelberg University in 2008.
