General Information
The Heidelberg Center for International Dispute Resolution organizes an annual Summer Academy on International Dispute Resolution.
The Summer Academy, within 4 days, provides an in-depth knowledge of the different facets of International Dispute Resolution.
On the first day the participants take part in interactive exercises
familiarizing themselves with alternative dispute resolution techniques.
The following three days are devoted to a workshop on International Commercial Arbitration.
The majority of the course is taught by way of practical exercises and
workshops, where the participants can gain experience in conducting
institutional arbitration proceedings.
As the number of participants is limited to 30
persons, it is possible to provide interactive and practically
orientated sessions and answers to individual questions. The participants
in the Summer Academy are young German and foreign lawyers, postgraduates, articled clerks,
and equivalents.
